UCSB alumnus recieves Sidney P. Colowick Award

Craig Lindsley, William K. Warren, Jr., Professor of Medicine and Pharmacology at Vanderbilt University, and Ph.D. graduate from the Bruce Lipshutz research group, has recently been recognized with the receipt of the Sidney P. Colowick Award for Research that Serves as a Platform for Discovery in Diverse Areas.

Dan Little elected Fellow of the AAAS

Two chemistry faculty are recipients of ACS awards

Award Date: September 11, 2012

Peter Ford and Craig Hawker are both recipients of 2013 American Chemical Society National Awards, to be presented at the next ACS Meeting in New Orleans in April. Prof. Ford was awarded the ACS Award for Distinguished Service in the Advancement of Inorganic Chemistry, sponsored by Strem Chemicals. Prof. Hawker was awarded the ACS Award in Polymer Chemistry, sponsored by ExxonMobil Chemical. Congratulations to Peter and Craig!
