The Stanley and Leslie Parsons Fund in Biochemistry, generously established by Dr. Stanley Parsons and his wife, Leslie Odell, has been awarded to Professor Lior Sepunaru.

Assistant Professor Lior Sepunaru has made major contributions in the field of bioelectrochemistry. His lab focuses on biocatalysis, single enzyme electrocatalysis, electron-manipulation of biological molecules, and  development of next-generation biosensors. In the bigger picture, Dr. Sepunaru’s group is shifting the paradigm for electrochemical methods to study complex biological systems.
