With this award, Emeriti Professor Little will become one of only three persons worldwide to have received the two most prestigious awards in organic electrochemistry – the Heyrovsky Prize and now, the Baizer Award.
Professor Baizer was an adjunct professor at UCSB. His team at Monsanto developed the so-called Monsanto process for the production of Nylon 6,6, and many other important electrochemical reactions and processes.
