| Bio: |
Dr. Moskovits received his Ph.D. at the University of Toronto in 1971, working with Professor M. J. Dignam. He began teaching there almost immediately. Rising through the ranks, Dr. Moskovits was appointed as full professor in the Graduate School at the University of Toronto in 1982. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and won the Gerhard Hertzberg award from the Spectroscopy Society of Canada in 1993.In 1999, he won the CSC EWR Steacie award and also joined the editorial board of the Journal of Chemical Physics. Dr. Moskovits moved to UCSB in the fall of 2000 to become Professor of Physical Chemistry and Dean of the Division of Mathematical and Physical Sciences in the College of Letters and Sciences. |
