Current Research
I am currently working on the total synthesis of Reiswigins A. It shows a promising antiviral activity against herpes simplex type I virus and murine A59 hepatitis virus. The novel approach to this synthesis is the use of intramolecular TMM diyl cyclization to form a [5.3.0] linearly fused ring system 1.
