(Boulder, CO) 2000-2001 Research Assistant, Colorado State University (Fort Collins, CO) Current Research My research is directed towards the asymmetric total synthesis of biaryl-containing alkaloids in the michellamine family (e.g., korupensamine B). These compounds show significant activity as antimalarials, while the michellamines are highly active against HIV in vitro and have been highlighted in the past by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) as important synthetic targets. |
