Chemistry & Biochemistry 142A: Chemical Aspects of Biological Systems
The 142ABC sequence of courses is intended for majors in the Department
of Chemistry & Biochemistry. The focus will be on the structure, function
and dynamics of biological macromolecules, considered from a chemical or
physical perspective. It will be assumed that course enrollees have satisfactorily
completed year-long courses in general chemistry and organic chemistry.
Students are expected to have access to and know how to use a basic Internet
browser such as Netscape.
