| Bio: |
Dr. Bunton earned his Ph.D. (1944) at University College (London) where he remained until he joined the faculty at Santa Barbara in 1963. Dr. Bunton has been named a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and was the American Chemical Society Tolman Medalist in 1987. Although he retired in 1990, Professor Bunton continues to carry on a very active research program in physical organic chemistry. |
