We were delighted by a visit from George Muller (1st intramolecular diyl trapping reaction; hirsutene; Celgene), Janice Muller (Masters Degree UCSB studying with Don Aue), and Gary Carroll (discovered the reversal of regiochemistry in the intramolecular diyl trapping reaction; capnellene; Santa Barbara City College).  We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with them at the Santa Barbara Harbor on Feb. 20.
