All graduate students in the Department making normative progress are financially supported by a teaching assistantship, graduate student research assistantship or fellowship. Annual stipends range between $20,000 and $25,000. Tuition, fees and health/dental insurance are provided in addition.

Foreign graduate students must arrange with a faculty member for tuition support before admission. They also must pass an examination in spoken English exam to become a teaching assistant.
