| Optical Characterization
Facility (OCF) is a joint spectroscopic laboratory founded by UCSB
Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and Center
for Polymer and Organic Solids (CPOS). The OCF's mission is to make
advanced optical spectroscopy techniques available to research groups and
provide students and postdoctoral fellows with hands-on experience in modern
optical spectroscopy. OCF operations are supported by full-time
staff member with advanced degree in optical spectroscopy. OCF coordinator
assists users in design and assembly of experimental setups, and analysis
of the experimental data.
